First appearance at the ProFood Tech 2019 shows positive results

From dairy products, baked goods and confectionery to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and technical articles, more and more international corporations, medium-sized companies and small manufacturers are opting for flexible automation solutions from Schubert – not only in Europe but also in North America. With this in mind, Schubert North America presented its portfolio for the first time at the ProFood Tech in Chicago in spring 2019.
Looking back on the three-day ProFood Tech show, Hartmut Siegel, Chief Executive Officer at Schubert North America, summarized the show as a good platform to strengthen the company’s network with existing business partners and to meet potential customers with interesting projects. “We see great potential for growth in North America in the show’s focus industries such as dairy, food, frozen foods and pet food. In Europe, we are a leading supplier of packaging machinery in these sectors.”
Schubert presented its portfolio of high-performance, flexible automation solutions based on industry-specific case studies. The highly flexible packaging of yoghurt cups in sleeves and cartons attracted the attention of the audience. There was also great interest in the company’s solutions for fast and efficient packaging of coffee capsules and portion packs for milk, apple sauce or salad dressing.
Additionally, Schubert informed the visitors about its new flow-wrapping component: the Flowmodul. The module enables efficient packaging of all types of products into flowpacks, while seamlessly integrating primary, secondary and tertiary packaging processes in a single TLM system. Schubert’s compact Flowmodul saves up to 70 percent of floor space compared to conventional flow-wrapping machines – creating valuable space to extend production capacities.
Schubert also presented its new lightline machine series, which comprises three preconfigured TLM machines for standardized packaging tasks: compact and efficient machine systems characterized by attractive purchase costs and short delivery times.
